The new FAZZT IndyCar team and car were unveiled during the Montreal International Auto Show Thursday.

The team is born for the association of IndyCar driver Alexandre Tagliani, Montreal businessman Andre Azzi and IndyCar veteran Jim Freudenberg.

The FAZZT Race Team was officially formed in July 2009 as a partnership between Andre Azzi of the Azzi Race Division, ATG, and Jim Freudenberg and Jason Priestley of the Rubicon Sports Agency.

The team will field a full-time IndyCar Series team beginning in 2010.

The team announced a partnership with Bowers & Wilkins, producers of reference quality hi-fi and home theater speakers, and unveiled their livery for the inaugural race of the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series March 14 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The FAZZT car will sport No 77.

"We bought four cars from Toronto racer Marty Roth," Alex Tagliani told Auto123.com.

"The car seen here is our show car. We have three other tubs at the race shop. One will be used on the ovals, another will be devoted to the road circuits and the third one will be our spare. As for the other teams, our Honda engines are loaned from Honda Performance in California and refreshed when they reach their maximum mileage. The team is housed in a 25,000 sq.ft. race shop on the north side of Indianapolis with a second facility that will house their Research and Design division in Montreal. We did some testing in Homestead, Florida last week, and I must admit I'm really looking forward to the start of the season!" Tagliani said.

The official web site of the team is www.FAZZTRaceTeam.com.
