The future of Toro Rosso's Sébastien Bourdais in Formula 1 is still unclear but the Frenchman won't wait helplessly on the sidelines for a decision to come and he is considering a return to racing in North America.
The four-time Champ Car series champion revealed to British magazine Autosport says he will look to return to the U.S. if the Scuderia Toro Rosso does not retain him.
"I'm pretty open," Bourdais stated. "Right now I need a good programme and America would be an interesting option."
