Newman-Haas-Lanigan Racing's Graham Rahal will be part of the Edmonton Oilers hockey team next week-end as the NHL team well-known logo will appear on his No 06 car for Saturday's Rexall Edmonton Indy.
Giant Rexall is not only the primary sponsor of the IRL event in Edmonton, but the pharmacy giant is also the sole owner of the Oilers club and they have decided to sign as sponsor for Rahal's car. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Rahal, 19, raced in Edmonton last year in the old Champ Car Series, starting in fourth position and finishing on the podium in third.
