Veteran racer Tomas Scheckter has been confirmed as the third entry for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in this year's Indianapolis 500.
Scheckter, who ran a partial schedule with D&R in 2009, will be back for a ninth time at the Indy superspeedway where he started on the fourth row for his first seven Indy 500s, only breaking the streak when he started 26th last season while driving for Dale Coyne Racing.
His best career result was a fourth, achieved while driving for Ganassi Racing in 2003.
Scheckter will join British teammates Justin Wilson and Mike Conway for the fabled Indianapolis event, with sponsors for the #23 entry to be revealed later this week.
