The all-new Jaguar E-PACE, a luxurious performance compact SUV, will soon be joining the F-PACE―recipient of the 2017 World Car of the Year Award―in the British automaker’s lineup.
That Jaguar has seen its sales increase by 44% in America is due in no small measure to the F-PACE and the XE sedan, reflecting the increasing amount of love today’s consumers are feeling for utility and compact models.
“The combination of sports car looks with Jaguar performance will ensure that the E-PACE stands out,” said Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar. “Every Jaguar is designed to excite the senses, and we think E-PACE will do just that, albeit with its own individual character.”
While remaining tight-lipped about details, the company is promising standard all-wheel drive, a choice of Ingenium gasoline engines and a range of luxury amenities and connectivity technologies.
The new Jaguar E-PACE will have its world premiere on July 13, and is set to go on sale early in 2018. Up next for the British manufacturer will be the all-electric Jaguar I-PACE. We’ll be watching closely!
