As promised on January 27th when the new F-Type SVR was confirmed for the 2016 Geneva Auto Show, Jaguar today revealed further details and the specifications of its first production model developed under the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division.
Capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h), the Jaguar F-Type SVR uses a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Output is rated at 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.
This car faster and more potent than the current F-Type R, not to mention at least 35kg lighter (up to 70kg lighter with certain options).
