To celebrate the English brand’s 75th anniversary, the Jaguar Cars design team created the XJ75 Platinum Concept, a unique vehicle that will be presented at the Pebble Beach Concept Car lawn this weekend.
Based on the brand-new XJL Supercharged sedan, the XJ75 is dressed completely in white and black, and features the XJL’s 470-horsepower, 5.0-litre V8 engine. It also includes a wraparound lower body kit, a Satin Matte Pearlescent White (!) paint job, dark chrome and glossy black trim as well as black-painted 22-inch alloy wheels with a brushed contrast finish.
Inside, the XJ75 hosts gloss pearlescent white air vents and diamond-stitched suede inserts in the seats, headliner and interior trim. The analog clock is provided by the Bremont Watch Company, and is hand-assembled in Switzerland.
"The XJ is thoroughly modern, and captures the innovative and daring character that our founder Sir William Lyons built into every Jaguar. And the design team clearly had some fun making their first one-of-a-kind XJ design concept in that spirit," said Mike O’Driscoll, Managing Director of Jaguar Cars.
