It started as a very cold Saturday with a little snow to begin with but the sun finally shone and the NASCAR Nationwide Nicorette 300 race got under way at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Young Kyle Busch (Camry No 20) took control of the race and lead almost 150 of the first 170 laps until a right front tire blew.
The yellow flag was thrown and at the restart, Kevin Harvick (Chevy No 33), Jeff Burton (Chevy No 29) and Matt Kenseth (Ford No 17) got into a final fight in which Kenseth came out as the winner.
Harvick finished second and he now leads the championship followed by Carl Edwards (Ford No 99) who finished fourth in this race. Burton was third.
