The power to surprise

Kia continues to benefit from strong growth in sales of its cars in Canada, and the Korean automaker is set to continue the trend with the premieres of three new models at the 2017 Montreal Auto Show.

The entirely redesigned 2018 Kia Rio 5-door will be making its North American debut following its grand unveiling in Paris last autumn. Its new look is decidedly modern and it offers improved comfort as well as more dynamic performance.

Technology will of course be front and centre in Kia’s new hatchback. The Rio 5-door will feature Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, as well as Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian recognition—a first among sub-compacts.

As for the new 2017 Kia Cadenza, it will be making its initial appearance at a Canadian auto show. Check out full details on this remarkable car via our contributor Benjamin Hunting’s first-drive review.

Quebec consumers will also be getting their first look at the 2017 Kia Niro, and may well find it hard to resist this small SUV motivated by a fuel-efficient hybrid system.
