Three models are available for C-Class buyers to choose from. The Avant Garde, Elegance and Classic models each serve a slightly different purpose while maintaining the underlying characteristics sought after by the model- namely uncompromised comfort working hand in hand with a dynamic and rewarding driving experience.
For this year, a new all-encompassing system called Agility Control is utilized to maximize that driving experience. The name refers to any of the existing and upcoming technologies which improve comfort and agility on Mercedes products. At the heart of the system are active shock absorbers, which alter their damping forces continually based on driving conditions. An Advanced Agility program has also been created, allowing drivers to select their preference between comfort and sport, while steering, suspension and transmission characteristics are adjusted accordingly.
More efficient engines will be available. |
C-Class has sold around 1.4 million units worldwide in its previous generation, and with the slew of technological and mechanical advancements fitted to the new model, setting the standard in the class once again should pose no problem.
