Ryan Newman (Dodge No 12) posted the fastest speed at 189.765 mph. Michael Waltrip (Camry No 55) was second while Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10) ran the eighth speed at 188.624 mph.
Jacques Villeneuve (Camry No 27) was 26th at 187.884 mph.
