Stéphane Sarrazin will replace Hiroaki Ishiura in the second Toyota TS030 Hybrid in the Le Mans 24 Hours in June.
Ishiura, who was set to run the event on the second Toyota, was forced to give up by the back pains he felt during a test session some weeks ago.
Sarrazin, who raced the Le Mans 24 Hours ten times – including the five last editions with Peugeot Sport –, will join his former Peugeot teammate Anthony Davidson and Sébastien Buemi at Le Mans. The Frenchman’s best results are two second places, in 2007 and 2009.
