The skies were bright and clear overhead this past Friday when an addition was made to the outer wall of Ford's Oakville Assembly Complex. A shiny and
polished blue oval, one of the most highly recognized corporate logos the world over, was fixed to the building. Alongside it for the first time was mounted Lincoln's star crest.

The joining of both logos on the building confirms production of the Lincoln MKX and Ford Edge crossover vehicles which will come from the plant.

The building, which overlooks the Queen Elizabeth Way highway, is undergoing a $1 billion transformation to flexible manufacturing.

The MKX and Edge will be on sale this November.
