8:30 AM - Leaning on the success of the Ford F-150 pickup, Lincoln tempts fate a second time (remember the Blackwood?) by offering an upmarket version dubbed the Mark LT. With a family resemblance in the form of the waterfall-like grille typical of Lincoln products, the full-size luxury pickup is powered by a 5.4-litre Triton V8. The Orange County Choppers gang was on hand with a motorcycle specially built for the show.

The midsize Zephyr sedan offers plenty of space for 5 passengers. Its buyer target is much younger than what we're used to see for Lincoln. The Zephyr will be equipped with Ford's Duratec 3.0-litre V6 that will develop 210 horsepower. It will be available in Canada and USA in fall 2005.

Pictures of the Meta One Concept vehicle have already been circulating on the Internet. For those who are interested, the Meta One is a Diesel-hybrid PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle). Its twin-turbo V6 engine displaces 2.7L and dishes out 248 hp and a whopping 431 lb/ft of torque. The Meta One crossover vehicle is expected to be available on the market in 2007.

For 2005, the Navigator receives revised front and rear bumpers. It is also treated to a different tailpipe and some new alloy wheels.
