The
team ORECA, already fastest on Sunday, set again the best lap times at the end the second day of official Le Mans Series testing at the Paul Ricard circuit.
The LMP1 car ORECA-AIM was still fastest on both Monday sessions, driven by Ayari, André and Meyrick. The ORECA Peugeot 908 was second quickest.
Rebellion Racing’s Lola B10-60a set the 3rd and 4th best performances ahead of Signature Competition’s Lola Aston Martin, and the Ginetta-Zytek, driven by the « Mansell family » (Nigel, Greg and Leo).
Best LMP2 car was the Strakka Racing’s Acura. MarcVDS’ Ford GT set the best performance of the GT1 category, while the best GT2 performance was set by the Prospeed Porsche.
The Paul Ricard circuit will host the opening round of the Le Mans Series, from 9th to 11th april.
Audi and
Peugeot will enter the championship at the second round in Spa, from 7th to 9th May.
