He added: "While the glorious 3200 GT Coupe was the first car to be launched under Ferrari's ownership, the Spyder is the first Maserati to be developed entirely under Ferrari. With that pedigree, we know that the Spyder will continue the magnificent success that we?ve already enjoyed with the Coupe over the past two years."
For drivers who prefer a conventional manual transmission, the Maserati Spyder GT will offer this option when it arrives in the UK in the summer of next year. Prices of the Maserati Spyder GT will be announced when it goes on sale in May.
