2017 World Car of the Year: Mazda’s CX-9 Among Finalists

Who will be taking home the title of World Car of the Year for 2017? The list of semi-finalists has been announced, and it includes the Mazda CX-9, the all-new – and highly popular – Chevrolet Bolt, the Fiat 124 Spider and the Audi Q5, among others. The three finalists will be announced on March 7th during the Geneva International Motor Show, with the big winner to be unveiled on April 13 as part of the New York International Auto Show.

The organization behind the award, the WCOTY, will also be announcing winners in a number of categories, namely World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Urban Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year – category in which the Mazda CX-9 is also nominated.
