2:30 PM - Mercedes-Benz introduced the Vision R and Vision B concepts, which is their first appearance in North America, as well as the new M-Class SUV and the CLS55 AMG.
The new ML will still be built in Mercedes' Alabama plant, in which they have just invested $600 million. This SUV is an evolution of the current model, and is said to offer better on- and off-road handling, and will be more refined than the outgoing ML. It will go on sale in the spring of 2005.
Also on the show floor, a S400 Hybrid, which marks the first one from the german brand.
