The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe made its global public debut today at the 2016 New York Auto Show, perfectly combining sleek coupe styling with SUV practicality. It’s kind of like the fusion of intelligence and emotions.
When compared with the regular GLC, one of the main sporty characteristics of the GLC Coupe is Direct-Steer technology with SPORT and SPORT+ modes. While offering generous room for both passengers and their luggage, this vehicle weighs only 1,710 kilograms thanks to the use of aluminum and high-tensile steels.
Globally, no fewer than eight GLC trim levels will be available including four diesel and four gasoline models. The list includes a plug-in hybrid and a powerful, high-performance Mercedes-AMG version. Look for 0-100km/h acceleration in five seconds flat with the twin-turbo V6.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will go on sale this fall at a price that has yet to be disclosed.
