On Wednesday, the Caterham Technology director Mike Gascoyne began his first solo transatlantic crossing.

Mike Gascoyne, who is the former technical director of several Formula 1 teams, including Renault and Toyota, is a sensation seeker. He raced old F1 cars in the BOSS Championship in the past, and has also climbed some high altitude summits.
