BMW has finally revealed the Canadian pricing scheme for the 2012 Cooper Coupe, the brand’s first two-seater since its big comeback in 2001.

The base version equipped with a four-cylinder mill producing 121 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque will be starting at $25,950. The Cooper Coupe S and its more potent 181-hp and 117 lb-ft engine will be going for $31,150, while buyers will be able to get their hands on the sporty John Cooper Works (208 hp, 191 lb-ft) for $38,400.

Compared to the Cooper hatchback, the S and JCW versions are more expensive by $2,200 and $1,500, but the base model sports an identical MSRP.

The MINI Coupe will burn an average of 6.1 to 6.7L/100 km, depending on the model, and feature standard air conditioning, height-adjustable seats and CD/MP3/AUX sound.

Automatic climate control, auto-dimming inside and outside mirrors, Bluetooth and a beefy Harman/Kardon sound system are only available on high-end models, however.

A drop-top version called Roadster should be breaking cover next summer.
