So neither of those models will change much for 2000, though the current Q45 will be available only as a Touring model. It will also get an active head restraint from Lear that can be very helpful in reducing whiplash neck injuries.
This system has received the blessing of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, which actually offers certain cars with anti-whiplash seats and head restraints a discount on their premiums -- including the Q45 and the I30 from Infiniti.
