Ford Canada's new boss sees this new hybrid sedan as a way to double hybrid output production wise. The Escape Hybrid is currently the bestseller hybrid compact SUV. "I'd like to have the best selling hybrid car and the best selling hybrid SUV. That would make a good complement", Mr. Mondragon said.
Fiesta is a gem!
Ford Canada is also preparing the introduction of its first small car since the Aspire: the Fiesta sub-compact. Ford Canada had one on display at the MIAS, thanks to the efforts of its marketing team, and it drew a lot of attention from show visitors.

Currently, the Ford Fusion shares a platform derived from the Mazda6 with four other models: the Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ sedans, and the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers.
