Both hybrid/crossover vehicles will be based on the next GM minivan chassis and are therefore likely to be powered by the same 3.4-litre V-6 that now propels the current Chevrolet Venture, Oldsmobile Silhouette and Pontiac Transport. They may also be available with all-wheel-drive.
As for the sixth Buick, current thinking is that it will be some version of the Cielo 4-door convertible that worked this year's auto shows. This would be a significant departure for Buick and every other car company, but of course that's what many auto executives think has to be done to be successful in the future.
