Hyundai continues its mission for World Domination. For its next trick, the Korean manufacturer plans to unveil a RWD sedan that is expected to look 95% or more like the Genesis Concept that will first be shown at the New York auto show early next month.

At a quick glance, the Genesis seems largely inspired by Infiniti's M sedan. Translation, it looks pretty good. Other than the RWD layout, Hyundai is expected to deliver the car with a small collection of powertrains that should include a V6, a Hybrid and, most importantly to break through in the US, a V8. This "Tau" V8 is likely to produce upwards of 300 hp and generate a sufficient amount of torque to propel the big sedan to 60 mph (96 km/h) in under 6 seconds.

As with every other Hyundai product, expect a long list of standard features that should include HID headlamps, Bluetooth, stability control and navigation.
