It looks more than ever likely that Toni Elias will come back to the Honda Gresini team next year after deciding to leave the Alice Ducati team despite being offered an extension of his contract.
The Spaniard had a very disappointing first half of the season but a recent return in form with podium finishes at Brno and Misano had his employers offered him an extension on his actual contract. He is believed to have turned down the offer in favour of a return to Honda and Gresini, the team he rode for in 2007.
