Honda has confirmed today in Japan that former 125cc world champion Andrea Dovizioso will replace departing Nicky Hayden at team Repsol Honda for 2009. Hayden is on his way to Italian team Ducati.
The Italian will become Dani Pedrosa's new teammate and Honda president Masumi Hamane confirmed also that both drivers would be using the same tyre manufacturer, Bridgestone.
