MotoGP: Stoner goes for a seventh pole at Misano

Ducati Marlboro's Casey Stoner clinched his seventh pole position following an almost total domination of all practices at the Misano circuit in San Marino.

Stoner finished over half a second over both Fiat Yamaha's drivers Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo who finished respectively second and third.

Honda LCR's Randy de Puniet leads the second row of the grid, ahead of Toni Elias's Alice Ducati and Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa.
