Having endured two days of wet and cold weather, the Formula 1 teams were greeted by dry and sunny conditions for the final day of testing at the Spanish circuit.

Japanese rookie Kazuki Nakajima topped the times on a dry final day of testing at Barcelona in Spain. Nakajima, only taking over his FW30-Toyota from Williams test driver Nico Hulkenberg late in the afternoon, set the fastest time of the day.

His best effort was just three hundredths of a second faster than McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen, with Pedro de la Rosa just two hundredths further adrift. Ferrari's Felipe Massa continued to show the F2008 had the edge on long run pace, even though his fastest lap of the day was just shy of main rivals McLaren.

Nico Rosberg was fifth fastest for Williams, ahead of the Renault-powered Red Bull Racing cars of Mark Webber and David Coulthard.
