The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will make its fourth visit to Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this weekend for the presentation of the NAPA Autopro 200.
Montreal will also be the 2010 season’s 10th event and the last of five road-course races this year.
There will be no less than ten Quebec native drivers entered into the event: Patrice Brisebois, Marc-Andre Cliche, brothers J.F. Dumoulin and L.P. Dumoulin, Andrew Ranger, Michel Pilon, Dexter Stacey, Isabelle Tremblay, Derek White and Maryeve Dufault.
It will also be the first time ever that a Canadian Tire race will have three female drivers -- Dufault, Caitlin Johnston and Tremblay -- in the field.
The first three Montreal events have been won by three different drivers all of whom will be on hand this week-end once again; JR Fitzpatrick (2009), Kerry Micks (2007) and two-time series champion Andrew Ranger (2008).
