NASCAR: Jack Roush moved to the Mayo Clinic following aircraft crash

In the latest update, supplied by Roush Fenway Racing; team co-owner, Jack Roush, has been transferred to the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnesota, Wednesday evening.

Jack Roush was involved in an airplane accident while attempting to land his private jet in Oshkosh, WI on Tuesday evening.

The hard landing left Jack Roush bloodied and bruised as he left the plane.

“Following surgery Tuesday night related to the facial damage sustained in the accident, he remains in serious, but stable condition. Roush was injured in a plane accident at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Tuesday. He will continue to be treated at Mayo Clinic for his facial injuries.”

Roush, who is also chairman of Roush Enterprises, survived a life-threatening crash in 2002 near Talladega Speedway.

The statement from RFR added “the Roush organization would like to thank the physicians and staff at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin, for the care and treatment provided during his stay.”

The plane is being held in a hangar and being inspected by the National Transportation Safety Board.
