There were two practice sessions Friday at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez for the NASCAR Nationwide drivers before the race on Sunday.
In the first practice, Kyle Busch (Camry No 20) was the fastest with a speed of 101.101 mph followed by Scott Pruett (Dodge No 40) and Colin Braun (Ford No 16).
Canadians Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 9) and D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) were respectively 13th and 43rd.
In the second practice, Pruett was the fastest at 102.896 mph followed by Colin Braun and Boris Said (Ford No 25).
This time, Canadians Patrick Carpentier and D.J. Kennington were respectively 7th and 35th.
Qualifying will be held on Saturday at 11:35 am.
