It ended as an economy run but New Zealander driver Marcos Ambrose (Ford No 59) finally won his first ever NASCAR Nationwide race, the Zippo 200, at the Watkins Glen International Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

He was followed by NASCAR sensation Kyle Busch (Camry No 32) and Matt Kenseth (Ford No 17).

Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 9) got hit from the back early in the race but still managed to finish 22nd.

Series point leader Clint Bowyer (Chevy No 2) ended up 23rd as P.J. Jones who was replacing D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) could not do better than 38th.
