The Trois-Rivieres-born driver Jean François Dumoulin has confirmed that he will take part in the upcoming Nationwide round of the NAPA Auto Parts 200 on circuit Gilles Villeneuve, making him the fifth driver from Quebec to be racing in Montreal this weekend.
Dumoulin will drive the Chevrolet Monte Carlo No 23 of R3 Motorsports in his first ever Nationwide series race.
It will be a busy weekend for Dumoulin since, along with his run with R3 Motorsports, he will drive in the Grand-Am Rolex event aboard AIM Motorsports' Ford-Riley Daytona Prototype along with John Farano.
