From the 2.6-mile Talladega Superspeedway to the Richmond International Speedway ¾-mile short track, the Nationwide drivers were ready to get back in action on Friday evening for the Lipton Tea 250.

Matt Kenseth (Ford No 16) took the pole position but early in the race, it was obvious the duel would be between Kyle Busch (Camry No 18) and Carl Edwards (Ford No 60).

The race turned out to be your typical evening short track event with its multiple spins and crashes including a multiple-car crash involving Eric McClure (Ford No 24), Scott Lagasse Jr. (Camry No 11) and rookie Justin Allgaier (Dodge No 12) on lap 14.

There were 10 yellow flag situations during the 250-lap race, the most impressive on lap 233 when Brad Keselowski (Chevy No 88) slid into Jason Leffler (Camry No 38) sending him spinning. Brian Scott (Camry No 10) tried to avoid the mess, went spinning and hit Jeff Burton (Chevy No 29) who bounced back onto the wall.

It's on the last restart with some four laps to go that Kyle Busch ran away from Carl Edwards to grab the checkered flag. Matt Kenseth ended up third followed by Keselowski and Kevin Harvick (Chevy No 33).

Joey Logano (Camry No 20) finished sixth and, for a rare appearance in the series, Mark Martin (Chevy No 5) came in seventh. Canadian D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) who started in 32nd place ended up 24th.

It was Kyle Busch's third win of the year in the Nationwide series and he still leads the series with 82 points over second-place Carl Edwards.

Next week, on Friday May 8th, the Nationwide boys will race at the legendary Darlington Speedway.
