Ron Hornaday (Chevy No 33) is surely about to rewrite all the record books at NASCAR.

Indeed, he just won his fifth Camping World truck race on Saturday evening at the Nashville Speedway becoming the third driver to win five consecutive races in a national series since 38 years.

Richard Petty and Bobby Allison did so but that was in 1971 and in what is known today as the Cup Series.

Hornaday led 115 of the 154 laps of the Toyota Tundra 200 to finally pull away from second-place Brian Scott (Tundra No 16) on the final restart  winning by .994 seconds.

Brian Scott has driven with a broken right hand for the past five races.

Colin Braun (Ford No 6) finished third while Canadian JR Fitzpatrick (Chevy No 4) ended up 23rd and Québec-born Mario Gosselin (Chevy No 12) ended up 26th.
