Next week, Chip Ganassi drivers Scott Dixon and Jamie McMurray will swap rides, at different tracks in Alabama according to a press release from Talladega Speedway.
On March 16 Dixon, an Indy 500 winner in the IndyCar series will drive McMurray’s Earnhardt Ganassi No. 1 Chevrolet Impala at Talladega Speedway.
And Jamie McMurray, the 2010 Daytona 500 winner will drive Dixon’s No. 9 Dallara/Honda at nearby Barber Motorsports Park that afternoon.
Later this summer Mobil Oil will sponsor another driver swap when Lewis Hamilton and Tony Stewart will drive each other’s cars at Watkins Glen.
