A photo posted on Danica Patrick’s website yesterday might have said more about her possible NASCAR plans than she had actually wanted.
She announced on Monday that she had signed a three-year deal to return in the IndyCar series with Andretti Autosport.
However, a small picture posted on danicaracing.com showed Patrick in a GoDaddy.com uniform with a Chevrolet emblem and what appeared to be a JR Motorsports logo as well as the Nationwide Series logo. Oops!
The photo was almost immediately removed and replaced by the official picture showed in the press.
But one Auto123.com contributor was fast enough to capture a screen print of the infamous image.
A representative of IMG, the management company which represents Patrick, declined comment, and a JR Motorsports’ spokesman did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
