NASCAR will announce it’s 2012 schedule in a novel way today. Starting at 12 noon EDT there will be a special Twitter chat session.
Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR’s Senior Vice President of Racing Operations (@odsteve) will be tweeting scheduled dates for NASCAR’s premier division.
The official @NASCAR channel will use the hashtag #2012Schedule to start broadcast the information.
Afterwards O’Donnell will entertain questions about how NASCAR constructs its’ schedule which runs for 38 weeks at 23 race tracks.
The Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series schedule will be announced at a later date.
