A $2,700 5-seat leather package includes leather seating surfaces, driver's seat power lumbar support, a 4-way power passenger seat (the driver's is already power adjustable), power tilt/telescopic steering wheel, electric folding outside mirrors, a compass in its rear view mirror and a driver memory system including steering wheel, outside mirrors and driver's seat adjustment. The package is finished off with a rear spoiler and xenon headlights.

A $3,300 power glass sunroof is only available with the automatic transmission package and effectively deletes the standard Skyview roof. Other stand alone options include a $1,700 navigation package and a $3,400 Nissan DVD Navigation System (GPS based) with a color monitor.

A $1,000 automatic transmission package for the SE adds a 5-speed auto gearbox with gated shifter and manual shift mode, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control System and power entry exit assist system. The package deletes the helical limited slip differential that comes standard on the 6-speed equipped 3.5 SE.

Once again power will be derived from Nissan's now legendary VQ 3.5-L DOHC V6 engine, but with a 10-hp and 9 lb-ft gain over last year's model - now 265-hp and 255 lb-ft of torque respectively. The engine should be noted for achieving recognition on Ward's Auto World magazine's Ten Best Engines list for nine consecutive years.

The new model will be built in the United States for the first time, at Nissan's award-winning Smyrna, Tennessee assembly plant.
