MISSISSAUGA, ON (June 28, 2006) - Ten participants, 21 days, and the experience of a lifetime. Nissan Canada Inc., is in search of five girls and five guys who live life large and aren't afraid to show it, to take part in The Nissan Versa Larger Than Life Road Trip.
Participants will travel in pairs from Halifax, N.S. to Vancouver, B.C. for a chance to win an all new Nissan Versa. Along the way they will compete in a variety of challenges to earn points. The individual with the most points at the end of the trip will become the proud new owner of a Nissan Versa.
Prospective participants will have the opportunity to audition for the Road Trip during the 2006 Mall Tour, beginning on July 4. They can find out which mall nearest them will be hosting the Versa Road Trip casting call by going to www.liveversa.ca. Entrants can also submit applications online.
Even if not one of the contestants traveling across the country, Canadians can still participate in the fun by registering online at www.liveversa.ca. The website features daily videos from the trip as well as participant blogs and updates from the trip as the contestants make their way across the country. Just by registering, contestants are automatically entered in a draw for a chance to win their very own Nissan Versa.
Versa Hatchback, the larger than life small car from Nissan, goes on sale in July at Nissan dealerships nationwide and retails for $14,498 for a well-equipped model. Traveling across the country in this little car will be no problem with the surprisingly large interior space which includes Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System a direct iPod plug in, and enough space for everything you need for a 21 day trip across Canada.
