Already a popular and long standing choice for those seeking economy and adventure, the Nissan X-Trail recently expanded on its model lineup with the new Bonavista edition, named after John Cabot's first glimpse of what is now Newfoundland some 51 decades ago.

The X-Trail Bonavista has a selection of clever features and options like reclining rear seats, warming / cooling cup holders, and a removable and washable cargo floor. Bonavista-exclusive upgrades include carbon-fibre interior trim, a special numbered plaque complimented by door sill badges, and a gorgeous platinum paint treatment.

Heated leather seats and automatic climate control help make the spacious, five-passenger cabin even more inviting, while a potent 6-disc changer equipped, 160 watt stereo system is available to serenade passengers with powerful tunes. Completing the airy and roomy interior is a panoramic sunroof overhead.

Power comes from a 2.5 litre four cylinder which generates 165 horsepower, and the only available transmission is a 4-speed automatic. Power is selective delivered to all four wheels by way of an all-mode 4x4 system.

X-Trail Bonavista starts at $30,998 for an all-wheel drive equipped model, positioning it between the SE and LE AWD packages. Its sure to be a hit with drivers looking for a little added exclusivity on top of an already brave and talented package.
