Germany is reportedly considering a plan to charge foreign drivers who use the high-speed Autobahn.
According to AFP, a 10-day pass will cost around €10 ($14.50), while 2-month pass will amount to €20 ($29). A yearly permit may exceed €100 euros ($145), although the exact price will be determined by the car’s age, engine size, and emissions rating.
Drivers of German-registered vehicles will be refunded in full through a rebate on their vehicle tax.
