Endurance team Racing for Holland will not compete in the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hour classic race, the team announced.
The Dutch team, headed by former Grand Prix driver Jan Lammers, has competed for the past seven years in the legendary endurance race but Lammers believes that the financial risk is too great.
Lammers said he will continue to race next year in the Le Mans Series, driving a Porsche RS Spyder with Horag Racing alongside Didier Theys and Fredy Lienhard.
Back in the 80s, Lammers raced a Group C Porsche 956 sponsored by Canon and entered by Richard Lloyd.
