Rahal Letterman Racing has won the first legal battle with its former driver Scott Sharp, when a United States District Court Judge ruled that Sharp had breached his contract with the team. However, the same judge allowed Sharp to continue on with his new job with Highcroft Racing's Acura team in the American Le Mans Series.
