The R2 doesn’t handle with a front-wheel drive car. It’s very neutral, and sometimes tail happy. The brakes are amazingly efficient and the gearbox is fast and precise. It’s difficult to believe that the R2 is only powered by a 170-horsepower engine. From the inside, it looks like more than 300!
Canadian Thierry Menegoz is having the first Fiesta R2 built by Team O’Neal and he intends to enter it in the Canadian Rally Championship.
