Two more rising stars will be handed the chance to convince Volkswagen Motorsport bosses that they are deserving of a drive in the firm's Polo R World Rally Car in the future when they contest ADAC Rally Deutschland next month.
Christian Riedemann, from Germany and Dutchman Hans Weijs will pilot a brace of VW-run Skoda Fabia Super 2000s on the Trier-based event as Volkswagen continues its young driver search ahead of its full debut in the series in 2013.

“They are now receiving the unique opportunity to [demonstrate their ability] in the toughest competitive conditions for a slot in the Volkswagen rally team.”
The Fabias will carry ‘Wings for Life’ branding when they compete in Germany. The charity promotes research into spinal injuries and lists F1 World Champion Sebastien Vettel among its ambassadors. The event takes place from 18-21 August.
