Auto shows fill the entire calendar year (or so it seems) and the one that provides the most information about new design trends and aftermarket products which is being held from November 3 to 6, 2009, in Las Vegas.

Over the next four days, the Auto123.com team will cover a number of special vehicle launches and get a closer look at hundreds of new goodies while walking through the tens of thousands of domestic and international buyers from the auto industry (public access is denied).

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. A crowd of 50,000 is expected, including some 10,000 journalists, and more than 2,000 products split into 12 different categories will be unveiled. The show floor encompasses two million square feet of exhibits.

Top automakers use SEMA to introduce or showcase high-performance and tricked-out models. Dodge, for one, will present a variety of MOPAR-tuned vehicles.

Meanwhile, as the official host of the 2009 edition, Ford is promising some cool surprises thanks to marquee partners like Chip Foose.

Tire manufacturers also have a lot of visibility at the show. One of them, Korea’s Hankook, is set to unveil new all-season tires.

Of course, the main theme at SEMA will always be car tuning. Over 700 designers, outfitters and tuning specialists from across the continent will showcase their most spectacular creations, from a highly-modified Corolla to a 750-horsepower Camaro.

Also, tons of news, features and photos will be published daily on Auto123.com. Finally, video coverage will be broadcast in the upcoming weeks.
