A marriage of style between the two companies has created a one of a kind machine- the Versace Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. Customized by Versace, the roadster was auctioned off at a star-filled charity to benefit Elton John's AIDS foundation. Over 600 were in attendance.
With illustrious actress Sharon Stone heading up the auctioneering, the LP640 fetched over half a million dollars. The winning bid went to Vik Keuylian from Lamborghini Orange County, who left the event wearing a kiss from Ms. Stone as a sign of appreciation.
"It is remarkable that the finest Italian clothing icon, Versace; the sexiest actress, Sharon; and the champion of Italian super sports cars, Lamborghini; could collaborate together to generate a financial windfall for Elton John's medical research. We are glad we won the bid," Sossi Keuylian of Lamborghini Orange County affirmed.
