It should be noted that there are informed opinions from people whose job does not involve marketing fuel to dispute this, but if the car owner wants to try using V-Power on a regular basis he or she might soon be able to see for themselves.

''With about five tankfulls,'' says McDonald, ''you're able to reduce deposits by about 50 percent. If you're using a lower grade fuel normally but go with the new fuel, the knock sensor advances to give you more power, and it will clean out the deposits. If you continue to use this gas, the deposits will be further reduced.''

McDonald says that, ''if you use this fuel, you will feel the benefits at some point in a performance-oriented moment. It will enhance your normal driving patterns,'' he promises.
